Dr Vanessa Muirhead

Vanessa Muirhead is a Clinical Reader and an Honorary Consultant in Dental Public Health.  She is currently the Programme Director of the online MSc/PGDip/PGCert in Dental Public Health, Policy and Leadership course at QMUL and the course developer of the “Introduction to leadership skills and practice in healthcare” short course . She is Academic Lead for dental NIHR Academic Clinical Fellows and Clinical Lecturers, the Chair of the Academic Training Oversight Panel (ATOP) in the Institute of Dentistry, QMUL and leads the Institute of Dentistry Teaching Community of Practice online group.

Dr. Cecilia Gonzales-Marin
Course educator

Dr Ceclila Gonzales-Marin is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Periodontology at Queen Mary University of London, where she integrates undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, leadership roles, and research.

As co-director of the MSc Dental Science for Clinical Practice, she leads a program for internationally qualified dental graduates interested in UK general and specialist practice.
